Returns & Refunds Policy

At Excel Shipping Containers, customer satisfaction is a top priority. We take great care in ensuring our containers meet your expectations. However, due to the nature of our products, we have specific guidelines regarding returns and refunds.


1. All Sales Are Final

All container sales—whether new, used, or modified—are considered final. Please ensure that you review the product details, specifications, and condition (as described or shown) before completing your purchase.


2. Condition Disclosure

Used containers may have visible wear, surface rust, dents, or scratches but are sold as wind and water-tight unless otherwise noted. New containers may have minor handling marks from transportation. We always aim to provide honest and accurate descriptions.


3. Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries

If your container arrives in a condition that is significantly different from what was described or if the wrong container was delivered:

  • You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Provide clear photos and a written explanation of the issue.

  • Our team will assess the case and offer a resolution, which may include a replacement, repair, or partial refund—at our discretion.

No claims will be accepted after 48 hours of delivery.


4. Custom-Made or Modified Containers

Containers that have been altered or customized at your request (e.g., painted, fitted, cut, or modified) are non-returnable and non-refundable under any circumstances, unless there is a manufacturing or installation defect directly caused by us.


5. Refund Eligibility

Refunds will only be issued in the following cases:

  • If a container cannot be delivered due to our fault and no suitable alternative is available.

  • If a container is damaged beyond acceptable condition and you decline a replacement.

  • If cancellation is requested before dispatch and agreed upon in writing by our team.

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.


6. Cancellation Policy

Orders canceled prior to dispatch may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to a restocking or administrative fee. Once a container has been loaded or shipped, cancellations are no longer possible.

8. Final Decision

All returns and refunds are subject to review and approval by management. Excel Shipping Containers reserves the right to deny a refund or return request if the claim is found to be invalid, incomplete, or submitted outside the stated timeframes.
